What is Chromatis®?
Chromatis® is a unit that accurately identifies tooth color, or its colorimetric data. Tooth color may be defined by shade (tone), saturation (chroma), relative color purity (strength), translucency and luminosity (amount of brightness reflected by the tooth). It adapts to materials chosen by the dentist or ceramist and can be used for ceramics, resins or composites.

Why Chromatis®?
Chromatis® is unique in that it provides an actual prescription to the ceramist; indicating the ideal mix of powders for the desired result.
Unlike the human eye, the Chromatis® is not affected by factors such as improper lighting, visual problems, color blindness, eye fatigue, etc. Whereas prolonged observation of an object affects the visual perception of that object, the Chromatis® functions on a consistently accurate level.
Chromatis® is compatible with the Vita Shade System and the 3D Vita Guide.
Universal
Chromatis® is universal in its application through the use of ‘SIM’ cards for the majority of traditional shade guides (ceramic, resin, composite, cerec).
Simple
Simple and easy to use, colour selection takes only seconds and can be achieved in one, three, six or nine spots. The results appear instantly on an alphanumeric (LED) screen and can be printed or sent to the lab by email.
Comes with software, but is not software driven.
